Inspired by the success of Digital Day in Switzerland, several European countries have successfully created their own Digital Day events. To make an even bigger impact on European society, the Swiss Digital Day team put energy and passion into creating connections and joined forces with countries across Europe.
The aim of this Initiative is to foster support amongst countries who are passionate about forging an interconnected digital global future. It promotes exchange, best practices and position Europe as a main innovation hub of digitalisation in the world. Through this initiative we jointly engage governments, businesses, academia and the public in Europe to improve the digital skills of all Europeans. Together, we also want to establish a common date for Digital Days across Europe.
Digital Day works to highlight the opportunities and challenges of digitalisation. Every activity and event encourages an in-depth discussion and provides a platform for the population to exchange, challenge and learn on diverse topics, including politics, economics and education.
Regardless of skill or age level, every member of the population is invited to participate and work towards shaping the digital future.
